Here comes another Eagles-song… „Take It Easy“ is a song written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey, who also provides lead vocals. It was the band’s first single, recorded in London, released on May 1, 1972 and it peaked at No. 12 on the July 22, 1972, Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also was the opening track on the band’s debut album „Eagles“ and it became one of their signature songs, included on all of their live and compilation albums. It is listed as one of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. I love this song and wish you lot’s of fun while playing it…

Es war die erste Single der Band, aufgenommen in London, veröffentlicht am 1. Mai 1972 und die im Juli 1972 auf Platz 12 der US Billboard 100 landete. Es ist gleichzeitig der erste Song auf dem Debut-Album der Band „Eagles„. Der Song entwickelte sich zu einer Art Erkennungsmelodie für die Eagles und wurde auf allen Kompilationen und Best-of’s veröffentlicht. Das Lied ist in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs als eines der Lieder gelistet, die den Rock & Roll geprägt haben… ich mag diesen Sound und wünsche viel Spaß beim Spielen…
