„Free Me“ is a song of the British rock band Uriah Heap from 1977. It is the 6th song of their 11th album „Innocent Victim“, released in 1977. The song as well as the album were very successful in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, but not in the USA. The lyrics are about a lost love of which the protagonist of that song wants to become freed… the lyrics go: „Free me / Come on and free me / Why wont you free me / Free me from your spell / Oh babe, free me.“
